Tomska

Tomska

Originally from Northern France, Tomska grew up surrounded by his father’s funk, disco and jazz records and the Belgian club tapes his brothers brought home in the late ’80s. Drawn to House music from an early age, he developed a close relationship with vinyl in 1996 and has remained loyal to the format ever since.

Discovered by Jordan Fields in 2001, he learned the foundations of music production and built his own working method around groove, rhythm, and the use of hardware — both analog and vintage digital — in the spirit of 90s-era techniques. He later contributed to numerous projects, particularly in drum programming, and regularly worked behind the scenes as a ghost producer.

In 2010, he moved to Paris and co-founded Vibes & Pepper Records with Cisco and Bryan Hervieu. From 2012 to 2014, he oversaw the label’s artistic direction, initiating or supervising every release, while Cisco handled the technical aspects and Bryan managed external relations. This period also marked the beginning of extensive gigs across Europe, including Berlin, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, Barcelona, Vienna, London, Liverpool, Leeds and Stockholm.

During these Paris years, he developed a close friendship with Jeremy Underground. Their shared musical affinity led them to perform together several times abroad, and Jeremy credited him on multiple occasions, both in interviews and on one of the MLIU compilations.

Back in Northern France, Tomska founded Abstract Cuts, a label dedicated to a precise and 90s-rooted aesthetic, as well as Abstract Lab, his personal studio where he continues to produce, handle drum programming and collaborate behind the scenes with various artists.

CISCO

Cisco

A former co-promoter of the Parisian DeLaHouse parties aboard the Concorde Atlantique boat, he also held residency at several legendary Sunday gatherings including Casa and Terrassa.

Along the way he shared booths and moments with key figures of the international house scene such as Derrick Carter, DJ Sneak, Rob Mello and Kenny Hawkes.

Driven by a deep love for disco and early house sounds, he went on to create parties like Classics & Bionic Boogie, while also appearing at revival events such as Les Années Palace, dedicated to the golden era of disco and funk.

He also co-ran the labels Need Light Records and Vibes & Pepper Records with Tomska and Bryan Hervieu. At heart, he remains what he has always been: a vinyl junkie.
